It's the same as Bungie, Take-Two owned part of it, and to get the full ownership of the company Bungie had to give up an IP for the stocks(Oni). But in Naughty Dogs case it was Crash. Had Sony not wanted to pick them up, they would still have the Crash IP, and probably been part of Activision, but whatever >__>
