PS2 for me as it was my first real introduction to RPGs.

1. Final Fantasy X

2. Dark Cloud 2

3. Dragon Quest VIII

4. Kingdom Hearts

5. Persona 3

The original playstation easily IMO.

It has the greatest RPG line up of any platform and after the DS it is my favourite console.  While it is true that many of its great games were never localised for Europe (Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Valkyrie Profile, etc) and it had it's fair share of last gen ports (Tactics Ogre, FFIV-VI, Chrono Trigger, etc), no home console has yet (and quite possibly ever will) surpass it IMO.

"The Daddy" sounds about right.

I mean, seriously. The number of games for it is just monstrous. The best of which, in my book, are...

1) Shadow of the freaking Colossus

2) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

3) Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal

4) Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

5) Metal Slug 3

PS2 without a doubt. It was easily the best console of the 6th generation.

4. Rayman- Only one to really live past the gen

5. Croc- Rescued his last Gobo; then disappeared into the night :(
