Since I didn't play any playstation games until after the ps2 was out that rules out that system. When it comes to gaming with my family I did more with the ps2 than I have so far with the 3 but that is changing.
When it comes to the games I'd say although the ps3 might not have as many games that I think are my top 10 favorite games. It has many that I have really enjoy and continue to enjoy. Plus within a year it will have more games in my top 10 I'm sure.

Demon's Souls
Infamous
plus some great mutiplatform games
Dead Space
Bioshock
Assassins Creed
Batman AA
