Nintendo doesn't care much about developing revivals, new games, or different games. And why would they when the only things that sell are crap with Mario themes? We get one unique title or adventure about every two years. Kid Icarus is the revival, and that Pandora's Tower is the unique game for this year or so. After this, it'll be a half dozen or more things stuffed with Mario.
