I never said Universal owned ND.  Sony was the publisher, Universal was the owner of the licence and ND was the studio  handling  crash, Sony bought ND who weren't interested in Crash any more and Sony wasn't interested in publishing  a non ND Crash so Universal sold it to konami who sold it and so we wait on Activision.

I'm going to start asking for links soon... Where did Konami come in? ND sold it to Vivendi who was then absorbed into Activision. And my point remains, if Sony had left ND alone they could have potentially continued the IP on the PS2/Xbox with the same quality. And that's one of the reasons why I like the PS1 above the other two

Edit: Universal only published it in Europe because VU didn't have a European branch, and same for Konami in Japan

I think it comes down to the fact that you wish ND still had Crash and i agree , but to me it was them not wanting to continue with it after the contract finished ,not Sony's involvement that left Crash where it is today and they would have made Jak and daxter any way. Having said that  with Sony behind them it was easier .

As to konami i apologise it was my mistake they took over as Publisher not owner
