They are getting lame because it's a waste of time, because the people that post the doom threads are never going to change their mind. I think maybe they just want to start an argument. I don't like the PS3. I don't hate it, because I don't really know much about it, because I prefer Nintendo consoles. I don't post hate threads about the Playstation, mostly because doing so would be a waste of my time. The people I would be arguing with would never change their mind, and it would just end up making people mad at each other. Perhaps these threads are being posted because the XBox and Playstation owners do not want to see their favorite console being beaten by another. I would feel the same way if another console was more popular than my favorite.
But most importantly: This is the internet. People are always going to criticize something, no matter what it is, no matter what the reason. I have come to accept this, and so whenever i see a hate thread, I just ignore it, because doing otherwise will only cause trouble.
