I have a DVR and I'd buy this. My reason. My DVR box only has a 40GB HDD and can only store like 240 hours of SDTV video. Plus my mom and sister hates me taking up space on the DVR for my "sh*t" so having a separate storage device to store TV shows would be really nice.
And I'm in the USA saying this.
