First Livable Planet (Other than Earth) Discovered in Space

Once again, light has defeated us in the space race.

So then, that would mean that the light from the planet that we currently see is not current, it is 20 years old, which means we see the planet as it appeared 20 years ago (time travel is possible, hooray!!!). For all we know, by now a giant comet could have smashed into the planet, deeming it lifeless.

All hope is lost.
