DS down quite a bit from last year, from ~28.6K to ~10.9K. I can see why that would be, though, since its successor has already launched. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the 3DS is taking the world (in this case, Japan) by storm. I mean this week the 6 1/2 year old PSP outsold it 2:1. If Sony plays its cards just right, they can definitely take advantage of this in 6-7 months when the NGP is released.
