It's like telling your parents they are your favourite parents in the world. 

I think the context here is that the DS didn't get a whole lot of fighting games, but within the launch window... (see quote)

Also, their conclusion isn't that DoA:D and SSFIV 3D are the two best fighting games on the 3DS, but the two best games overall.
