Actually, I see the PS3 outselling the 360 before Project Cafe launches. And the PS3 outselling the 360 will be very meaningful at this point. It will mean Sony has the best momentum going into next gen. And taking in account that Sony is very doubtful to make the same mistake next gen, it will only help them even more. I think next gen we may very see the return of the PS brand being on top. Plus, it's pretty good to be able to outsell your competition when they've had a SKU $100 cheaper than your cheapest SKU for over a year.
I also don't see Project Cafe having much successas the Wii. If rumors are true, it will be more powerful to the PS3, but the graphics will still be comparable. More like Nintendo is just playing catch up graphically. If this is the case, more people will just stick with the cheaper PS3 and 360, and not even feel as if the next gen has truly started.
