I'm pretty sure an overwhelming majority (can't give out a fake percentage) of consumers are not even aware of an impending price drop.
Nintendo has done nothing yet to notify or advertise that this price drop is taking place, leaving consumers yet again in the dark. Sales are getting this low because the Wii's release schedule is barren and abandoned.
