FF7, which was a sequel to Crisis Core, and FFX-2, which was a sequel to FFX, were both the greatest FFs ever created. While Squeenix learned from FFX, they were able to fix all the wrongs and provide the perfect sequel with FFX-2. It doesn’t stop there. Squeenix, after releasing the horrible Crisis Core for the PSP, were able to travel back in time, and create what is considered the best FF of all time: FF7. It will be released before FF vs XII : FF vs XIII, as we all know, is a spin-off. If there’s one thing Squeenix learned already, it’s that spin-offs don’t sell nearly as well as the main franchise. So as a courtesy, they are going to further delay vs and treat our wet noses with an undeniably great sequel with FF XIII-2. The team currently working on vs expressed their excitement for its consumers and are in full support of the new sequel. |
