I know it's late but I was browsing through games sales and I started to compare God of War 3 with other games that came out in Q4 2010. Games like Fable 3 had a better 10 weeks than God of War 3 but despite all the competion God of War 3 had (FF13, BBC2, Pokemon, MBL) it still outsold them all. And another factor to count is that it had shortages. I think if it came out in October it would have sold more than 1.5 million in a month just in America. This game had positive feedback from people and critics that's why it is still selling good today. And if you don't know this game sold 1.1 million in the U.S. just in a couple days and is the best selling God of war. And if the rumor is true that God of War 4 will come out in September 2012 (September is usually dominated by 360 due to games like Halo and Gears.) This game will dominate. This is the only PS3 exclusive to sell over a million in America in a month despite it having no MP. This might be the only game to sell over a million in America despite having no MP. If the rumor is true that God of War 4 will have multiplayer than this could be a Halo seller in America. So what do you think?
