That would be nice, but I don't see it happening. I think Nintendo will go with someone that will develop an online system for them, but then hand complete control back to Nintendo. they've been VERY cautious of anyone stepping between them and their services (hardware or online), in fear of them regressing towards becoming a 3rd party developer. I don't see that changing with Project Cafe, either.
