The PSN issue is temporary. Like everyone has said, it has the games; the competition is losing focus and people are realizing that PS3 has the best value.
Why buy a Blu-Ray player? You can buy a PS3 and have a Blu-Ray player, DVD playing, Netflix streaming, web-browsing and online gaming machine.
Why buy a Wii? You can buy the PS3 Move bundle with all the normal gaming, control rumbling, motion gaming machine (with equally floppy Move games, but with some hardcore, fun games!)
Why buy a 360? You can buy a PS3 and have an equal HD-gaming, free online-gaming, better exclusive, Free facebook access, Netflix playing and other things.
