it wont stay flat from here out. It will drop to 20-30 k in a week or 2 and will stay there untill 3 or 4 weeks until launch. It will have between 1.1-1.5 million preorders here. Guys there is no chance of gears 3 being as big as reach. halo 3 has sold more than 11 million copies and reach is outpacing that. gears 1 n 2 have sold about 6 million copies(thats were odst is). Gears 3 wont sudenly double its predicessers sells.

gears 3 2.2 million fw in americas 500k everywere else. 2.7 million FW ww.

Yea, I can see GeOW3 adding 1-2 million extra lifetime sales compared to previous installments of the series.  But to actually double it with one game?  No way.  And if pre-orders don't drop like you say, I think we may be overtracking them.  Unless its going to have a HUGE 1st week and then drop substantially.
