I don't think there will be a Wii version of RE5. It would suffer too much.

What I think will happen, is that Capcom will make a unique RE game for the Wii, using a refined RE4 engine.

Funny you say that, because every time me and my brother start talking about RE5 and how great it will be, the conversation always ends on this downer:"...it's just gonna suck having to go back to analog aiming". RE4 on the Wii has spoiled a lot of people, so it's natural that people really want RE5 on the Wii. How about a unique version of RE5?

The "would rather have a RE built for the Wii, not a downgraded port" argument ran out of steam a long time ago. There will be drawbacks if the game is made for the Wii, but there is also drawbacks with the game being on the 360 and PS3. I don't see how a game is a "downgrade" if it's gaining something as well as losing something. Seems like it would even out to me.

It's not like everyone wants RE5 chopped to pieces to run on the Wii, they want a modified version built for the Wii. I honestly don't care if the draw distance isn't 3 miles, if there are 15 enemies on screen instead of 40, or if Chris has 3 trillion polygons on his earlobe or not. Making a Wii version would just require the devs to work within the limits of the system, just like they do with the 360 and PS3, and just like people have been doing since the first videogames were made.

Besides, it's not like someone is losing some big exclusive; we've known it was multi-plat for ages.
