I counted out Japan because it makes most of the difference. Remove 360 Japanese sales or keep it there the results are almost the same. I don't remove it because I think it's a non important market, but because to the PS3 domination even if you remove Japan from 360 the PS3 still has the same difference so it's irrelevant in 360's case.

Then we're left with your calculation about EMEAA which we agree on.

Imo a 15k difference spread across countries where PS3 is more implemented or the only HD console to be sold is not domination.

Add all markets bar Japan they're almost selling on par. Now add Japan and PS3 is king, in the end PS3 sells better because it's selling in more countries and because the 360 has no presence in Japan, that's my response to the thread... and it's imo.

It's not true... I can't understand or where this statement comes.

Sales from 02nd Jan 2011 to 30th Apr 2011 without Japan:

PS3: 3,304,431
360: 3,097,449

PS3 leading by 207k without Q4 adjustments for PS3.

13k on average every week is enough to say that one is dominating? Really? Add Japan and it's 30k every weeks so yeah Japan makes the big difference.

My point still stands, PS3 is selling better mostly because of Japan and other countries than because they have such a better library.

edit: where is the "plus" sign????
