To me, the Dreamcast is the last batch of Sonic games. When I think of Dreamcast, I think of both the Sonic games, as well as Sonic Shuffle. When I think of Soul Calibur, I think os SC2 more, when I think of Resident Evil, I think PS1, and GCN more, but the Dreamcast was the home of 3D Sonic games. In my opinion, that's what defines the dreamcast to me. Besides, both games play very differently, and show two different sides of Sonic. Sonic Adventure 1 was more classic Sonic, where Sonic 2 was some weird new era Story.
