They could do alot worse that copy MS strategy, i know youve tried to differntiate it buts its basically the same.

Yah my idea is a hybrid between what Microsoft did with the 360 and what Nintendo did with the Wii. I have to wonder why Microsoft ditched the interchangable hard drives with the Slim. Honestly the hard drives were one of the best things the 360 had going for it.

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer having a 500 gig hard drive I could take to a friends house or use on multiple consoles over an internal drive. With the internal drive you buy a new Cafe and suddenly you loose all your DLC.

I think the drives being synced to your My Nintendo account would be ingenious for Nintendo. They could prevent you from copying files to other drives or to internal memory while giving you the ability to use your DLC on any hardware unit.

Not to mention the cost factor. They could keep the hardware price down. I'm not sure how much a 500-gig or terabyte drive would cost to manufacture but selling them seperatly for a profit would help Nintendo immensly.

Yeah i here what your saying but it wouldnt be necesary if Nintendo had decent online its an absolute travisty that if you buy a new Wii you cant access your account and re download all your content.

Hopefully as theyve hired in experts to do there online it will be alot better on cafe, the interchangable drives were sweet on 360 phat but as long as they dont do a MS and charge well over the odds.
