Is Nintendo putting too much faith in the third party?

It can't be fun publishing games on a console where the first party so easily overshadows all else with it's quality software.

I think Nintendo's next mission is to show that there is enough space on their console for themselves and third parties to enjoy huge success quality and sales wise.
