Hell i bet you in two years they will start with 2160p tvs. 2160p tvs dont make sense, you would have to have a really huge tv to see the difference. projectors could work. the next generation of tvs are affordable OLEDs and that will take years before they are affordable and replace current tv sizes.
and on topic 8gb doesnt make sense at all. not 1080p could be realistic to keep the price as low as possible and most nintendo games(mario) wont be needing more, but would probably end in a 3rd party support like wii has now.
