Yes. The PS360 are doing well compared to the Wii on the basis of their stronger game releases. As soon as the next gen begins, the PS360 sales will drop much faster than the Wii because the Wii has a greater amount of games with legs.

What? Wii 2 is already confimed for 2012... the sales of Wii will down a lot more than PS3/360 because PS4/720 are not coming before 2013/2014.

2) How does the arrival of a Ninty console effect the hardware sales of the previous Ninty console more than it effects the hardware sales of competitors?

1) PS4/720 is seted for 2014 (for now).
2) Because that makes more sense... when Wii 2 arrive the sales should fall first while their competitors will have low sales but will continue selling (mainly the PS3 costing $ 199).
You think after the Wii 2 launch the Wii > PS3 or 360 in sales... that's impossible.
