There are half a dozen gaming companies which can survive on the corpses of the others which are already dying all around. Gaming won't die, as start-ups will make brilliant games and pull in huge profits by self-distributing, but none will be able to launch a console and create another true explosion. Gen 11: EXPLOSION. Sorry, but the biggest 'explosions' in the industry were Gen 2, 3 and 6 (Atari, NES and PS2).
