2.  Because the similar design to the Nintendo DS some people just thinks it is a more expensive DS, but when software starts to come out and people can't play it on there old DS, they will move to the 3DS. 

3. Software drives hardware and the 3DS definitely has the software but not at the moment. Be patient.

4. Once Pokemon(main series) makes its way to the 3DS, sales will explode worldwide.


So instead of saying the 3DS is doomed, how about waiting until these games come out before you talk.

Oh and one last thing.  If Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker can sell over a million copies on the most pirated console, Metal Gear Solid The Naked Sample will easily do the same for the 3DS. Metal Gear, Mario, and Zelda are all system Sellers.  Not Nintendogs, Super Street Fighter IV, or Raving Rabbids.

1. Do you seriously expect Zelda OOT 3D to sell hardware? Or Paper Mario? Seriously? The only game you said that will help move hardware is Mario Kart. The other might give a very small lift for the week, mainly in Japan, but that's it.

2. I'm pretty sure that it is because they KNOW that it is just a DS with 3D  and some better graphics is that they won't get it.

4. Yeah. We just need to wait until 2014, as Pokémon mainline games come take 3-4 years to make.

I fail to understand how this undooms the 3DS.

Zelda Ocarina of Time sold over 7 million copies and is considered one of the greatest games of all time.  Each Paper Mario has sold over a million and the newest one sold around 3 million.  Metal Gear Solid is also huge worldwide.  Pokemon Grey also very possible to be on the 3DS. Super Mario 3DS is supposed to be a lot like Super Mario Galaxy and its made by the same developers.  Mario Galaxy series totals is at 15 million. All those games sell extremely well yet you don't think they will move systems? Well I guess the PS3 just plain out sucks since its only exclusive to sell over 5 million is Metal Gear Solid 4(sarcasm).
