I mean, that happened to me on my debit card and they fowarded me the money right away while they did their investigation.

Yeah, fraud on an existing card should be the least of anyone's worries. There's definitely a safety in numbers aspect here. If you dispute a charge and have Playstation Network charges on previous statements, your credit card company is going to take your word for it. Chase's fraud prevention system in particular seems to have a hair trigger, anyway. They freeze my card until I verify that all my charges are legitimate about every two months or so for no apparent reason. (Must be all that online porn.)
