It's not that I don't care about the whole PSN topic, I'm more pissed of about all these mis-information circuling around the net; people claiming they lost money from the bank giving no proof other than a post(and G4 actually ran with this), that "Sony could pay 23-24 billion", 2.2 million credit cards numbers are up for sale. though it's false it just adds to the overractions and hysteria and damaging Sony's name even futher.(I think the only station whose actually repoting the cituation clealy is MSNBC)
another thing is that people are making it seem that it 100% Sony's fault,(not that they can't share some of the blame) like they just downloaded some antivirus protection online and there computer technicians are cavemen with rocks. Sony isn't the only national/international corp, to get hack, hell I believe even NORAD and the FBI securities were breached. It probably takes awhile to go through 77 million accounts while also re-biulding/improving the PSN's infrastructure so an attack like this doesn't happen again an probably why updates are slow.
