To be honest, I haven't played online myself, my son did. Worked really well.
I have it for split-screen and single player and both are a lot of fun. Unlike too many Wii games, it doesn't feel like they skimped with this one. It's a solid effort and excellent game.
Yes, it's fun. I've really enjoyed both the single player and split-screen.
Wii doesn't have much of a FPS base but what it has are all playing this and CoD. Played online on CoD a lot and the FPS community there was very consistent, I'm sure it is and will remain so with Goldeneye. Now that Conduit 2 is out (to poor sales) there aren't any more Wii's FPS to look forward to (except maybe the next CoD) so Goldeneye will retain strong support from Wii's small but dedicated FPS based for a long time.
No co-op, no headset (or even Wii Speak) support. Shame. But a ton of fun when friends are over.
