@axt113 you got nuts i give you that, i agree with your upstream thing, i think it is absolute crap to believe that all those WiiFit playing grandmas and grandpas or whoever would start buying Zelda 3d, it they didnt care about it before then they sure as hell dont now. BUT, thats the whole reason why Ninty is trying to bridge these types of games. not making 3d Mario or Zelda because it doesnt sell as well, is the most riduculous thing ive read on this site, since people were complaning that split/second was on PSP but not Wii, all that would do is piss people off and get them even less support, you really think the public is that stupid that they will buy yearly iterations of WiiSports, Fit, Party or whatever in massive numbers??? I question you as a gamer, why would you want less options??? unless you have stock in Ninty but if you dont thats strange way of thinking. i consider myself a gamer and the truth is i dont love the WiiSeries, its fun but nothing i can really sink my teeth into, its like an appetizer too me. i wouldnt be satisfied with those types of games alone. I for one love  the direction of Ninty i rather them try something different with Mario or even Metroid and fail than just give me the same exact thing over and over again

You may like it, but the market isn't really exited by a Galaxy or Other M, you may have loved the Nintendo games o nthe N64 and GCN, but they didn't really do very well in the market.

I'm not saying they shouldn;t make meatier games, but they need to make meatier ones that follow the ideals of the games that truly move consoles, its no hard to see how the games in Wii Sports resort could be adapted into full scale meaty games, heck the sword game in WSR could be made into an epic adventure game by Nintendo, focused on fighting, not puzzle solving

I swore off this, and yet i return.

Where is the proof that Skyward Sword is focused on Puzzle-solving over fighting, which is the underlying accusation your comment is loaded with? If anything we should see the most substantial combat of the 3D era

When was the last time Zelda wasn;t loaded down with puzzles and other boring crap?  When was the last time you weren't stuck on a boat or in a train or doing some other boring travelling and backtracking in Zelda?

I'll be happy to be proven wrong about Skyward Sword, but I won't hold my breath, I'm expecting a little bit of swordfighting and a ton of puzzles
