not at all. Certain candidates would change everything. Typically they are the ones who the republican/democrat party hates, or 3rd parties. Since the advent of the tea party though the repubs need a candidate like gary, ron, rand, or some of the various candidates that were 3rd parties (traditionally libertarian candidates have always been best).
