So last month I had posted that I won a gaming console of my choice from work. I just needed to buy it myself + games and bring in the receipt and it would be reimbursed (up to $500).
I had decided to purchase a Wii unless I couldn't find one, which then I would get a PS3.
Today, at 11:40am, I walked into the EB games at the Eaton Center/Toronto... and even before asking if they had stock, the manager recognized me and smiled!!
So yeah... I'm the new proud owner of a Wii!! Woot Woot! I havn't purchased any games since I had sneaked out of the office for my usual Wii Hunting breaks. (Smokers get smoking breaks, People with free console award get Wii hunting breaks!!) But, after work I'm planning on getting Zack and Wiki (yes supporting 3rd party games, you can thank me by sending me cheques VG$!!), Wii Play (for the remote) and Super Mario Galaxy.
My gf is actually quite excited, which is nice, since other then Scene it! and Tetris she usually ignores every else on the 360.... apparently assassinations, headshots, and space opera's are not her cup of tea.
Hopefully I'll have time later on tonight and give you guys my impression of the Wii from a 360 fanboys point of view.
