Already owning a DS? Then the next question is: are there already any 3DS games you want? If not, and you want some new games, how many good, very good and excellent DS games from its huge library and belonging to genres, styles and series you like or you know you could like don't you own yet? Because think about it, whenever it was released, a game you never played is NEW for you.
Iwata is partially right: games definitely matter. But so do price, battery life and competition from 3DS' illustrious ancestor.
Oh wait, I was almost forgetting another thing: it's a portable, region lock sucks on them even more than on home consoles.
