Yeah, it's not that people don't get how awesome 3D is supposed to be. We just don't think it's awesome without good content. Same as touchscreen controls wouldn't work without good games that showed them off (Angry Birds, Nintendogs), and motion controls without good games (Wii Sports, Dance Central).
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
