As for Metroid, the sales had been waning ever since Prime 1 anyway just like the article said. Corruption might have had a slight boost in sales, but it was still BARELY over half of what Prime 1 did. Sakamoto is probably just going to take a longer approach and decide whether he wants to go with the 3DS or the next console for the series. Either one would be fine. Here's to hoping Other M's detractors don't end up begging for the next Metroid. |
Maybe I'm not a "real" Metroid fan, but I still can't get why they hate so much Other M. I like it, and a lot. I have played Super Metroid, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Other M and love every one of them.
