That's really nothing new. The first had them, don't really see why the second wouldn't

"No Xbox Live Arcade game to date has been afforded a dedicated server option."

The more I read about the game the more interested in it I get. May really have to get this now that it has dedicated servers.

actually, im fairly sure no xbox 360 titles have either as all (including halo) run on P2P network servers. I know of 1 PS3 title (Warhawk) that does, otherwise its all P2P servers too.

Left 4 Dead 2, Homefront, Gears 2 (as of the lastest big title update), section 8 and all BF games use dedicated servers on 360. Most ps3 exclusives besides Uncharted 2 use dedicated servers.

Anything with matchmaking tends to have P2P servers. Reason being is that they act as if there is a physical server without there being one. The servers most companies speak of are actually the servers for the PSN interface that processes the data between all users. Only issue is that since all players are getting updates from all players at once instead of having a base server processing all actions then transmitting the results you get lag.

L4D2 360, might, if there is a way to access the server browser in the game you can tell, but I doubt Microsoft allowed that update.

Even Portal 2's co-op uses a P2P server base.
