They would probably make more money of those customers if they could convince them to wait for the Wii2 , especially if it starts retailing at 300$ or less..

And how would that work? By running commercials this holiday season that tell people "Don't buy a Wii, wait until next year for our new console"?

By not spending 50 million$ on Wii commercials this holidays.

I'm not saying tell people not to buy it. I'm just saying don't spend big amounts on marketing the Wii for the holydays..
