So you think developers will continue to utilize controllers from the previous generation, notwithstanding their open hostility to the Wiimote and the fact that wiimotes are likely not going to be packaged in with the new console?

The system will probably be backwards compatible. The new games will not.

Who knows, maybe nintendo wants to continue to support the wiimote and create games for both the more traditional controller (if you can call it that) and the wiimote while creating games that support both.  Im sure this is how they will move forward.
