When did Nintendo confirm any of this? All I've seen from them is "new system, 2012 release, wait for E3." Did I miss something?

im guess you didnt read my opening thread comment last night at 12 midnight nintendo annouced wii 2 and they will show it off at e3 with an release in 2012

Wtf's your deal dude, all noname asked was how puffy got ahold of those last couple bits of info about the streaming processes and screen resolution of the controller, cool it bro. I would like some confirmation as well, because every single site reporting on this has not mentioned a word about any specifications of anything. All thats been written about until today has been rumors, and all thats been confirmed as far as most of us know is that a new console is coming in 2012 with an e3 reveal, nothing more.
