Pyro as Bill said:

I think MS has been punked harder than Sony.

MS appears to have switched focus to their motion controller moreso than Sony. I'd expect 2012 to be around the time any well developed 'core' Kinect game would arrive. In some ways it might have been better for MS if Kinect wasn't as successful.

Kinect failed to steal Wii's cazualz but Microsoft's new family friendly direction might actually make it easier for Nintendo to steal their hardcorze. Is that irony?

It's complicated, I would say Sony more than Microsoft simply because a PS3 with Move would be roughly equivalent to an NES 6 with Wiimotes except the latter would have more performance and a few gameplay opportunities not present on the Sony system which is further compounded by Nitendo's total dominance of the wand market, 8M vs 150M or more? Kinect on the other hand would be in a similar boat hower it would still retain some unique features not seen in either the PS3 or NES 6 or Wii. Im not really trying to disagree with you, im just trying to make more point clearer as to why I originally stated it as I did.
