There are a whole host of gamers and media that highly, highly disagree with you on these points.  I'm both.

But, if you prefer, you can use the GC controller or the Classic Controller.

When I say shooters don't work on the Wii, it's not because of the controls, oh no, the controls are great. It's because Nintendo doesn't publish any FPS's other then Metroid Prime, which is technically a First Person Adventure game. Third Party software hasn't seen very many polished FPS's on the Wii.

It's the developers fault, not the console. Yes Red Steel 2 is pretty good, but what else is there? Conduit 1 and 2 generally got 7.5-8/10 scores. How many PS3/360 shooters come out every year that get that rating? Already this year there is Dead Space 2, Homefront, Crysis 2, Killzone 3, and BulletStorm, and I've very excited about Uncharted 3, Gears 3, Mass Effect 3, L.A. Noire, Duke Nukem, and Resistance 3.

I fail to see how that relates to your earlier comments.  You said MP3 was difficult to play.  Then you said shooters don't work on Wii.  Both of these statements allude to the controls being the issue, not the quality or quantity of the genre on Wii.

If that is indeed what you meant, better phrasing would likely have helped.
