wow what a useless example.

I see no difference between the two examples >_>

he used god of war.
im talking about 3rd party wii games and specifically non fitness/dance/party games.
what do average sales for god of war have to do with the wii, its not like all 1st party sony games had those sales. and its not like al 3rd party games also had those sales.
|
Games on a 140 million userbase don't necessarily sell 10m each - Games on a 86 million userbase don't necessarily sell 6mil each - - - - How are the examples different?
|
where do i talk about 6 million sales for 3rd party wii games.
i dont, his god of war comment was useless because it didnt represent the sales of 3rd party or 1st party ps2 games.
|
dude, try to keep up will ya
...I meant a huge userbase doesn't necessarily mean huge game sales (6mil was just an example). You said the sales in the OP were "terrible". When asked why, you answer: because considering the 86 million userbase, a few million copies is "terrible"
Question: Do you think God of War's sales are "terrible" (considering it's on a 140mil base)? Hint: Both GoW and the games in the OP sold similar numbers relative to their userbase (GoW acutally sold relatively less)

i was talking about the sales of 3rd party games for the wii wich are non dance/fitness/party/platformer.
that meaans sales ranging from 200k till 1.5 million(or something like that) that is terrible.
now when it comes to god of war that is one game(or franchise) im talking about multiple games. theirs a diffrence. i said 3rd party game sales are terrible on the wii and i used userbase to say why. when it come to the ps2 not all 3rd party games sold from 3 million to 4 million, hence the god of war reference is useless.
i find god of war's sales to be average, but again comparing the wii and the ps2 is very hard because the ps2 sold what 30-50 million after ps3? and that caused no software changes except to the anaul sport franchises and to games such as san andreas.

God of War was just an example out of many, stop dwelling on it so much.
PS2 had many non -dance/fitness/party/platformer games which sold terribly despite a large userbase. So the same thing you say for Wii applies to it as well.
No excuses.

yes but not all of them sold terribly.
