Hmm ... that's interesting. I wonder if it's something with the WiFi, because I can't imagine that there is something stored in-game on the cart that hasn't already been hacked, reverse-engineered, or even simply discovered with date-jumping on the DS calendar.
FWIW, according to the sidebar on GameFreak's site, Junichi Masuda's (director of D/P) birth date was January 12, 1968.
