My theory, when Nintendo actually introduces their next system people will be shocked because it will be entirely different from the rumours

It sure will.

Don't agree with you guys...

Yeah - At this point, with all the rumors from multiple sources all reporting similar stuff, it can't all be a big lie

Even IGN is reporting it, and they seem pretty sure it's fact

At least some of has to be true imo

Holding some truth and being anything like what we have seen suggested are two very different things ...

There were several rumours (and expert speculation) that the "Nintendo Revolution" would use gyroscopes, but the implied use was closer to the Sixaxis than it was to the Wiimote; and there was no speculation about a direct pointing interface, and very little about it being a one hand configuration. On top of these obvious differences, there is also the important point that the motion sensor in the Wiimote is not a gyroscope.

In the case of Nintendo's next generation system it is possible that the controller might have a screen built into it but that doesn't mean that it would be a 6 inch HD touchscreen built into a controller that is similar to a classic controller. If it is a 2 inch low resolution touch screen that is similar to the Dreamcast's VMU there would be "some truth" to the rumour, but that doesn't mean that the rumour is anything like what was produced.
