Ask yourself that.
Would you put a different button set up for each game you play if you could? I wouldn't.
Take a look a this Novint Haptic Controller, referred in the article you posted. Looks awesome, to bad you can't just grab it and hold it in your hands like a confortable controller.

That video is four years old. Obviously Nintendo would come out with a comfortable controller that is suited for a broad range of games and not just limited to few types of games, because technology has advanced since then.
What's more likely is that the touchscreen on the Nintendo controller would be similar to the one of the phone at the start of the article I linked to and built into a controller that is comfortable to hold. So you find your prefered button set up(s) and use it for the games you want to play.

If thats true, just wait for a game were you can haptically feel boobs. Japan dominance incoming.

Only Japan?
OT: I think most people will end disappointed. It's a controller and Nintendo! It needs to be cheap enough to be sold for 50-60 € so you can buy 3 more to play with your friends, and it needs to resist those little hits and scratches that every controller get. A 6" screen, 1080p or not, or that haptic tech seems too expensive to meet those goals.
Please excuse my bad English.
