I'm not sure why you keep harping on a GT6 release, and until such confirmation, that bit will remain irrelevant. Also, even with the economic situation, many games have come out and done just fine (some better than past iterations - like God of War III). I don't see why GT5 would solely be affected, and at this point, nothing suggests that it has been. Second, I don't think user-base is playing a factor in GT5's performance at all, or it wouldn't be as ahead of GT4 as it is. It released during a holiday, and if nothing else (as in expanding it's user-base), it sold faster during that period than GT4 because of it being a holiday. Nothing proves that wrong at this juncture. Outside of speculation, you have nothing concrete to back up why GT5 has a "slim chance" of not passing 10 million. Now I admit, I too am basing my stance on speculation, but with it being ahead of the most recent iteration that has passed 10 million, it makes for a more solid case. |
You have nothing concrete. Just your opinion. Basing sales on previous games does not make sales of another game a fact. lol!! You're just speculating on what could be. Like I said, lets look at the numbers again in a year and see how close it is to 10 million.
