yeah, but most multiplat games will be almost the same on the 3 consoles.  Also, when the PS4 and the 720 arrives they will be 300% more powerful or more than their previous editions.

When the PS4 and 720 arrive, the gap will be smaller than it was this generation. Nintendo would have put itself in a position where they will still get ports.

Sony and MS cannot go super-powerful because developments costs are high enough as they are already.

And they cannot use super high end hardware unless they want the boxes to explode from over heating or make the consoles the size of a PC tower.

Not to mention we are getting close to a point of diminishing returns graphics-wise.

First generation games on any console always look a bit crappy for the console full potential, so when Wii2 games begin to take some steam, the PS4 and 720 games will crush them in performance at least. (and in the case of the PS4 considering the first party of SONY, it will crush the Wii2 in all aspects).

Once again, the gap will be much smaller. Probably somewhere around likewhat PS2 was to X-box or maybe 360 to PS3. No one is 'crushing' anyone.

Sony's first party doesn't 'crush' Nintendo's first party.
