What irks me about this guy is that he basically contradicts himself; he says that the graphical capabilities need to be on par with current PCs to interest him, yet before that he says that even if the system is "way more powerful"than PS360, it's still not enough... guess he means it must be way, way more powerful?

Also the whole attitude that "even if one was donated to me, I wouldn't even open it out of the box"... seriously?!

if current consoles were on par with current PCs they would be capable of pushing way, way higher graphics, physics, effects, etc.

Especially if he is talking about Intel's beast skulltrail. Dual Core i7 995s plus two GTX590s... omfg you have power beyond power. I think it could nearly emulate the xbox 360 on it....

Yeah, that's why I said "he must mean way, way more powerful".

It's just a foolish thing for him to say, IMO.  There are many stages between being more powerful than a PS360 and on par with the most cutting-edge PC tech.  To say that the N6 could be way more powerful and that's still not enough is just expecting too much.  We all know Nintendo's not going to go the route of implementing whatever the highest specs available are right now in a system that's not even launching directly against an X720 or a PS4.  Why would they?  It would be too expensive and likely be outdone power-wise when the others do release their new consoles anyway.

If it was, by definition, "way more powerful than a PS360" (i.e. still not cutting-edge tech), and had enough RAM, they could deliver spectacular graphics and keep the cost of the system reasonable, especially when it would likely be launching with at least a year's head start on the competition.
