Croal's is probably the best analysis of the situation; I believe the Wii WAS the biggest seller amongst its peer and I don't remember consumers really clamoring for a new Nintendo console (though they also weren't clamoring for the 3DS, to be fair). I'll wait and see what happens, but I think devs should just accept Nintendo's philosophy because after 4 or 5 years of the same crap it's gone from tiring to boring
