Yeah but how many of those iPhone/iPod sales are actually upgrades from the older models.  I doubt the install base is anywhere near 187M.

The install base for games sure isn't LOL

Well, good for Apple, still even 300m would not kill console gaming, this people buys apps, generally cheaper ones, real gaming experiences are not there, even if some big brands are having portings of some kind.

Let me say that you're right on there: I phrased it wrong, saying what's a real gaming experience and what's not is subjective, for me playing with only you finger already means not having a real experience, but I can understand that some could find it entertaining.

Well, I never said everything on Nintendo platforms is a real gaming experience, neither all Nintendo's titles (Wii Play is something indie-like). I can't replay back since your point of view differs from mine, all I can say is that out of 350k apps I don't think there are 5k good ones. And this makes me saying that the, as I called it, "real gaming" (AAA titles I could say to express what I meant) is and will remain on consoles.

No, I don't own a smartphone, but if we only could speak of what we have or know perfectly wouldn't it be a sad world?

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)
